The Salvation Army operates the Cherokee County Soup Kitchen. A free lunch is provided to any hungry person who walks through the door, Monday – Saturday 11:30am – 12:30pm, and Sundays 1:00pm – 2:00pm
Cooking, serving meals or cleaning, you can volunteer in many ways, and on a specific day that fits your schedule. Previously several church groups have signed up to cook food then bring it to the Soup Kitchen and serve the meal, so you can sign up as a group if that works best.
